Escale Voyages is a tour operator based in Cotonou. We take small groups and private travellers across the whole of Benin, from the Atlantic to the Niger river, received at each stop by the people who live there.
Benin deserves a serious operator
Everyone who comes to Benin sees Ouidah and Ganvié. Almost nobody sees Kétou, the Collines, the Atakora or the W. The country runs 700 kilometres from the coast to the Niger and most itineraries stop at kilometre 150.
We built Escale Voyages to show all of it, at a standard that matches the best operators anywhere: comfortable cars, good rooms, hosts who know the history, a Cotonou team that answers, and prices that are clear in FCFA before you commit.

What the money does
Park fees fund rangers in Pendjari and the W. Ceremony contributions go to the temples that receive us. Drivers and hosts are paid at Cotonou professional rates, and we book family-run lodges wherever they meet our standard.
We do not visit orphanages, do not arrange photographs of people without their consent, and do not sell Vodun as a spectacle.
